JERICHO, N.Y. – E&I Cooperative members can now take advantage of three competitively awarded contracts with Pitney Bowes, a global technology company crafting innovative products and solutions in the areas of customer information management, location intelligence, customer engagement, shipping and mailing, and global ecommerce.
E&I’s Pitney Bowes contracts service three unique areas: mail and sortation services, shipping and mailing, and software solutions.
Mail and Sortation Services
Pitney Bowes Production Mail and Sortation Services allows E&I members to find and retain the right customers, enhance parcel handling and streamline invoicing and payments through a comprehensive mix of shipping and mailing solutions. A national outsource provider of mail presort services for first-class, standard-class and flat mail in the U.S. , Pitney is a workshare partner of the United States Postal Service (USPS) and its Presort Services network and fully-customized proprietary technology provides E&I members with end-to-end solutions. Pitney processes approximately 15 billion pieces of mail annually and is able to expedite mail delivery and optimize postage savings.
Shipping and Mailing
Pitney’s Shipping and Mailing solutions offers products and services to enhance productivity, improve parcel delivery, and manage postage spend. E&I members will find solutions from postage meters and mailing supplies, to tracking software and outbound/inbound sending and receiving.
Scope of services for E&I members include postage meters-leased and rented, mailing and related equipment, tracking and delivery solutions, self-service parcel pickup, large-scale mail production, and software, supplies, and support services.
Pitney Bowes software solutions encompass technology that helps E&I members identify, locate and communicate with target audiences – including prospective students, current students, alumni and vendors – more effectively. Pitney’s solutions include data integration, communication intelligence, channel and delivery, messaging, and reports and analysis.
